A NOTE ON TESTING THIS NEW RELEASE:
Several changes have been made since V1.03. If you wish to
test the new program with past logs a couple of things will
have to be done to the logs before loading them.
1) The QSO number was expanded to 5 places so a leading
'0' will have to be added to the QSO number on every line.
2) If you we're running V1.03, the number of transmitters
was increased to two places so a leading space or digit
will have to be added to that field.
The logger is a disk based system that uses a fixed length
record for the sake of speed as well as reducing the risk
of lost data in a power outage.
Adding information, or removing some, will cause problems
for the system when pulling in the data. My suggestions
are:
1) Be careful...
2) Use a backup of the file when editing.
I have received many wonderful suggestions on program improvements
and have read and considered every one. I have implemented
quite a few (when I had time to do so). I will do what I can
to continue to make the system as useful as possible without
creating a complex system that's too hard to operate at 2:00 AM
during a pile-up.
73, GL and, HAVE FUN!
